Western Australia Regional Committee

Welcome to the website of the Western Australia Regional Committee of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. The committee is involved in training, continuing medical education and issues pertaining to anaesthesia in Western Australia. The committee advises the ANZCA Council on regional issues, convenes continuing medical education events for Fellows, runs examination preparation courses for trainees and provides a forum for liaison between training hospitals and the College. Our website highlights activities undertaken by the committee and provides easy access to material relevant to Fellows and trainees.

News and events

The 2012 Western Australia Summer Scientific Meeting will be held at the University Club of Western Australia on February 25. The theme of the meeting is "What's New in Anaesthesia". The plenary speaker is Dr Tracey Tay from Newcastle, NSW, who will speak about innovation in anaesthesia. Other speakers include Dr Christopher Mitchell and Professor Stephan Schug.
